Windshield Wiper Arms/Windshield Wiper Linkage
Removal
CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands. 4. Disconnect the connector, detach the harness clip,
then remove the windshield wiper linkage assembly.
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the hood and body.

1. Remove the windshield wiper arms, then remove

5. Separate the windshield wiper linkage and wind-
shield wiper motor.
NOTE: When installing, align the alignment marks
WINDSHIELD COWL on the link and windshield wiper linkage.

18 N-m (1.8 kgf-m,
2. Remove the strut brace (see section 5). 6 x 1.0 mm 13 Ibf-ft)

3. Remove the control box cover, then remove the dash- WASHER
board upper center reinforcement.

6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
If necessary, replace any damaged clips.

BRACKET Install the windshield wiper arms properly as
