1.   Remove the instrument panel (see section 20).           1.   Disconnect the 3P connector from the vehicle speed
                                                                  sensor (VSS).
2.   Remove the screws from the gauge assembly, and
     spread a protective cloth on the upper column cover.         NOTE: The VSS drive link is a very small part; be
                                                                  careful not to lose it.

3.   Disconnect the connectors, and remove the gauge
     assembly.                                               2.   Remove the two mounting bolts, then remove the
                                                                  VSS.
4.   Install in the reverse order of removal.
