1.OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SYMPTOM C
Interview the customer to obtain the malfunction information (conditions and environment when the malfunc-
tion occurred) as much as possible when the customer brings the vehicles in.

2.REPRODUCE THE MALFUNCTION INFORMATION E
Check the malfunction on the vehicle that the customer describes.
Inspect the relation of the symptoms and the condition when the symptoms occur.

>> GO TO 3.
3.PERFORM "BASIC INSPECTION" G
Perform the basic inspection.
Refer to RF-65, "Basic Inspection"

>> GO TO 4.
4.IDENTIFY THE MALFUNCTIONING SYSTEM WITH "SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS"

Use "Symptom diagnosis" from the symptom inspection result in step 2. Then identify where to start perform-
ing the diagnosis based on possible causes and symptom.

>> GO TO 5.
5.IDENTIFY MALFUNCTIONING PARTS WITH "COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS"
Perform the diagnosis with "Component diagnosis" of the applicable system. RF
>> GO TO 6.

6.REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS
Repair or replace the specified malfunctioning parts.

>> GO TO 7.
7.FINAL CHECK

Check that malfunctions are not reproduced when obtaining the malfunction information from the customer,
referring to the symptom inspection result in step 2.
Is the malfunction repaired or replaced?
O
YES >> Trouble diagnosis is completed.
NO >> GO TO 3.

MEMORY RESET PROCEDURE
1. Please observe the following instructions at confirming the sunroof operation.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect the electronic power while the sunroof is operating or within 5 seconds after the sunroof
stops. (to wipe-out the memory of lid position and operating friction.)
2. Initialization of system should be conducted after the following conditions.
