                SUBJECT                           ACCESSORY PROTECTIVE BUMPER COVER ADHESION
                If you encounter a customer complaint of the rear bumper protective cover peeling up on the left and/or right
                sides, use this procedure to re-attach the bumper cover to the bumperskin:
                                Carefully lift up on the loose side, clean the bumperskin and the protective cover area to be re-
                                attached using 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner Part number 08984 or equivalent. Ensure both
                                surfaces are clean and dry.
                                Using ordinary masking tape, carefully mask-off around the edges of the bumperskin to prevent any
                                adhesive spillage from damaging the bumperskin painted surface.
                                Using 3M "Ultra-Pro" Trim and Emblem Adhesive part number 08063 or equivalent, apply the
                                bonding adhesive to either the protective bumper cover or the bumperskin.
                                Bond the protective cover to the bumperskin. Masking tape maybe used to secure the protective
                                bumper cover in place until the adhesive dries. Immediately wipe-off any excess adhesive using 3M
                                General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner part number 08984.
                                NOTE: The suggested products in this bulletin are manufactured and trade-marked by 3M.
                                Always follow the manufacturers instructions when using their products.
