                                               INSPECTION
                                               1.    REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PARTS (See page
                                                     BO-69 )
                                               2.    REMOVE AIR DUCT




                                               3.    REMOVE AIR INLET SERVOMOTOR
                                               (a)   Disconnect the connector.
                                               (b)   Remove the 3 screws and servomotor.
                                               4.    Auto A/C model:
                                                     INSPECT AIR INLET CONTROL SERVOMOTOR CIR-
                                                     CUIT (See page DI-616 )
                                               5.    Auto A/C model:
                                                     INSPECT AIR INLET DAMPER POSITION SENSOR

                                               6.   Manual A/C model:
                          3       1                 INSPECT AIR INLET SERVOMOTOR
                                               Inspect servomotor operation.
                                                    (1) Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal 2 and neg-
                        REC                               ative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the arm
                                                          rotates clockwise and stop to REC position.

                                                     (2)   Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal 2 and neg-
                              2   1                        ative (-) lead to terminal 3, then check that the arm
                                                           rotates clockwise and stop to FRS position.
                                               If operations are not as specified, replace the servomotor

                                               7.    INSTALL AIR INLET SERVOMOTOR
                                               (a)   Install the servomotor with the 3 screws.
                                               (b)   Connect the connector.
