AIR CONDITIONING - BLOWER MOTOR LINEAR CONTROLLER (Auto A/C)
BLOWER MOTOR LINEAR
CONTROLLER (Auto A/C) AC23C-02
INSPECTION
1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PARTS (See page
BO-69 )
2. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR LINEAR CONTROLLER
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 2 screws and blower motor linear controller.

3. INSPECT BLOWER MOTOR LINEAR CONTROLLER
CIRCUIT
(a) Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the
connector on wire harness side, as shown in the chart be-
low.

Ignition switch ON

Tester connection Condition Specified condition
1 - Ground Constant Continuity
3 - Ground Constant Battery voltage
If the circuit is as specified, try to replace the controller with a
new one. If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the connected
to other parts.

(b) Connect the connector to the relay and inspect the wire
harness connector from the back side, as shown in the
chart below.
Test condition:
Ignition switch ON

4. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR LINEAR CONTROLLER
(a) Install the blower motor linear controller with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT PARTS (See page
BO-76 )
