1. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY
HEAD
Tester connection Switch position Specified condition
- OFF No continuity
14 - 16 TAIL Continuity
TAIL 13 - 14 - 16 HEAD Continuity
If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
Flash 2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH CONTINU-
ITY
8 7 Tester connection Switch position Specified condition
16 - 17 Low beam Continuity
7 - 16 High beam Continuity
7 - 8 - 16 Flash Continuity
If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

5. INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY (MAIN)
CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the con-
nector on the wire harness side.

Parking brake lever released
11 - Ground

Parking brake lever pulled up
Ignition switch position LOCK or ACC No voltage

If the circuit is as specified, perform the following inspections.
