INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF MOTOR CONTINUITY
2 (Color: Red) (a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal
2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1, and check that
the motor turns clockwise.

(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal
1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that
2 (Color: Red) the motor turns counterclockwise.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the motor.

Wire Harness Side:
2. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF CONTROL RELAY CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the con-
nector on the wire harness side.

HINT:
*Exceptions: During 43 seconds after the ignition switch is
turned to ON OFF.
