REPLACEMENT
HINT:
S The following is the seat heater replacement procedure.
S Care should be taken during operation to protect the seat
cover from scratches, dirt or accidental cuts.
1. TURN SEAT COVER INSIDE OUT
2. REMOVE SEAT WIRES
3. REMOVE SEAT HEATER
(a) Seat cushion cover:
Cut the 10 tack pins which are fastened to the seat heater,
then remove the seat heater.
(b) Seatback cover:
Cut the 9 tack pins which are fastened to the seat heater,
then remove the seat heater.
4. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION SEAT HEATER
(a) Set a seat heater.
HINT:
Face the marked side (mark: TOYOTA) to the seat cushion pad.
(b) For part A, position the seat heater by aligning the end of
the fin with the fold line of the listing pocket.
(c) For part B, position the seat heater by aligning the V-slit
of the seat heater with center line of the seat cushion cov-
er.
(d) Using tracker, attach tack pins to the seat heater as
shown in the illustration.
Tacker: BANZAI 303XT or equivalent.
NOTICE:
S Do not substitute other metal part in place of tack
pins.
S Insufficient distance between the heater and cover
may result in damage to the heater.
HINT:
S Attach tack pins on the seam side so that the wire can be
threaded through the hole from the fold side.
S Sewing thread can be substituted for tack pins. However,
allow a distance of 6 - 7 mm (0.24 - 0.28 in.) between
both sewed parts of the heater and cover.

5. INSTALL SEATBACK SEAT HEATER
(a) Set the seat heater.
HINT:
Face the marked side (mark: TOYOTA) to the seat cushion pad.
(b) For Part A, position the seat heater by aligning the end of
the fin with the told line of the listing pocket.
(c) For part B, position the seat heater by aligning the V-slit
of the seat heater with the center line of the seat cover.
(d) Using a tacker, attach tack pins to the seat heater as
shown in the illustration.
Tacker: BANZAI 303XT or equivalent.
NOTICE:
S Do not substitute other metal part in place of tack
