DTC C1210 / 36 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate
Sensor Undone
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTC No. DTC Detecting Condition Trouble Area
When either the condition 1. or 2. is detected:
1. After battery terminal was connected, ECU terminal IG1
S Yaw rate sensor
is turned ON for the first time. Within 15 sec. the shift
C1210 / 36 S Yaw rate sensor circuit
lever is moved to any position except P range.
S PNP switch circuit (P range)
2. When the yaw rate sensor zero point recorded in ECU is
deleted.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Perform zero point calibration of yaw rate sensor (See page DI-224 ).
2 Is DTC still output?
Check DTC on page DI-224 .
NO No problem.
YES
3 Check output value of yaw rate sensor.
In case of using the hand-held tester:
PREPARATION:
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the yaw rate sensor with the con-
nector still connected.
(b) Connect the hand-held tester to DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tes-
ter main switch ON.
(d) Select the DATALIST mode on the hand-held tester.
F02808 CHECK:
Check that the yaw rate sensor value of the yaw rate sensor dis-
played on the hand-held tester is changing: Place the yaw rate
sensor vertically to the ground and turn the sensor pivoted on
its center.
OK:
Yaw rate value must be changing.

When the yaw rate sensor is stationary:
Output value:
