INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check voltage between terminal EXI3 of skid control ECU and body ground.
ON PREPARATION:
V18 Remove the skid control ECU with the connectors still con-
8 nected.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(b) Measure voltage between terminal EXI3 (V18 - 8) of the
(-) (+) skid control ECU and body ground with the transfer shift
lever in 4WD position and in other than 4WD position.
F14335 OK:
Voltage:
4WD position: Below 2.0 V
Except 4WD position: 10 - 14 V
OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI-242 ).
NG
2 Check transfer 4WD position switch (See page TR-1 1).
NG Replace transfer 4WD position switch.
OK
3 Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between transfer
4WD position switch and skid control ECU (See page IN-28 ).
NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
