INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check voltage between terminal EXI4 of skid control ECU and body ground.
ON PREPARATION:
V18 Remove the skid control ECU with the connectors still con-

nected.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(b) Measure voltage between terminal EXI4 (V18 - 17) of the
(-) (+) skid control ECU and body ground with the transfer shift
lever in L4 position and in other than L4 position.
F13787 OK:
Voltage:
L4 position: Below 2.0 V
Except L4 position: 10 - 14 V
OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI-242 ).
NG
2 Check transfer L4 position switch (See page TR-1 1).
NG Replace transfer L4 position switch.
OK
3 Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between transfer L4
position switch and skid control ECU (See page IN-28 ).
NG Repair or replace harness or connector.

4 Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between skid control
