CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This circuit provides power to operate the back door ECU.

                                  DIAGNOSTICS   -   BACK DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

   1     Check POWER and JCB M-fuses, and MPX-B and ECU-IG fuses.

CHECK:
Check the continuity of the POWER and JCB M-fuses, and MPX-B and ECU-IG fuse.
OK:
    Continuity

                                        NG          Replace failure fuse.


  OK



   2     Check voltage between terminals POWE/ECU-B/IG and GND of back door ECU
         connector.

PREPARATION:
Turn the ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals IG and GND.
OK:
      Voltage: 10 - 14 V
PREPARATION:
(a) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
(b) Disconnect the back door ECU connector.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals POWE/ECU-B and GND.
OK:
      Voltage: 10 - 14 V

                                        OK          Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on
                                                    problem symptoms table (See page DI-556 ).
