SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM - FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

INSTALLATION
NOTICE:
Never use airbag parts from another vehicle. When replac-
ing parts, replace them with new parts.
1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the airbag door to the instrument panel and instru-
met panel stay with the 3 bolts.

(b) Install the front passenger airbag assembly to the airbag
door.
CAUTION:
S Insert the 7 claws of the passenger airbag assembly
into the holes in the airbag door securely.
S Make sure that no foreign objects are trapped be-
tween the airbag door and bag, and within the mod-
ule.

(c) Install the front passenger airbag assembly to the instru-
ment panel with 2 bolts.
