  ZOOM            SIZED FOR PRINT


The installation method of the roof side rail weatherstrip has been modified to improve retention between the No. 1 and No. 3 corners
on 2000 model year Celica vehicles. The part has not been changed. Use the following installation instructions to reinstall the roof
side rail weatherstrip on vehicles with the above concern.

Applicable Vehicles
^ 2000 model year Celica vehicles.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair Is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is In effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs
first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Modified Procedure

1. Check weatherstrip for deformation Installation and/or damage.

2. If the weatherstrip is in good condition, start by installing the weatherstrip in the No. 2 corner. If the weatherstrip is damaged,
   replace the weatherstrip.

3. Hook the bottom edge of the weatherstrip into the roof drip side molding first. Then, using your fingers, install the top edge of the
   weatherstrip into the molding.

4. Continue to install the weatherstrip by hand in the order shown in the illustration.

5. Using finger pressure, press the length of the weatherstrip between the No. 1 and No. 3 corners to verify that the weatherstrip is
   seated completely in the roof drip side molding as shown in illustration.
