SUNSHADE TRIM REPLACEMENT

MODELS:
'00 MY Celica

Introduction The following information is provided to supplement the Repair Manual procedure for replacing the sunshade trim. The
sunshade trim can be replaced without removing the sliding roof assembly from the vehicle. Please use these instructions, in addition
to the instructions in the Repair Manual, for sunshade trim replacement.

Applicable Vehicles
2000 model year Celica.

Warranty Information

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the sliding roof panel.

   A. Remove the 4 screws that secure the sliding roof panel.
   B. Pull the sliding roof panel upward to remove it.

2. Remove the rubber stopper.

   A. Remove the screw and rubber stopper on both sides.
3. Remove the No.1 and No.2 sunshades.

A. Release the spring between the No.1 and No.2 sunshades on both sides.

B. Bend the No.1 sunshade in the center to remove it as shown.
C. Repeal the same procedure for the No.2 sunshade.
NOTE: Bending the sunshade excessively may cause damage.

HINT: When re-installing the sunshade, insert it into the slider rail as shown.
