Tachometer/Speedometer Needle Fluctuation

'00 Celica

Introduction
On the 2000 model year Celica the tachometer and speedometer needles will fluctuate when the ignition switch is rurned on with the
DCC 25 Amp fuse removed. Initial installation of this fuse should occur during PDS (Pre-Delivery Service). Tachometer/
speedometer needle movement is a normal condition for this model with the DCC 25 Amp fuse removed.

Applicable Vehicles: 2000 model year Celica

Inspection Procedure




  ZOOM           SIZED FOR PRINT

If a vehicle exhibits this condition, check that the DCC 25 amp fuse is in the Junction Block as shown.

NOTE:

The DCC 25 Amp fuse is stored in the Engine Room Junction Block in the engine compartment. Refer to TSB PG027-99 for Celica
Fuse Installation During POS.
