1. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY

TAIL 10 - 13 Continuity

HEAD 10 - 13, 11 - 12 Continuity
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

Flash 2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH CONTINU-
ITY

Low beam - No continuity
HEAD and Low beam 8 - 11 - 12 Continuity
High beam - No continuity
HEAD and High beam 9 - 11 - 12 Continuity
Flash 9 - 11 Continuity
13 12 11 10 9 8 HEAD and Flash 8 - 9 - 11 - 12 Continuity

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
3. Puerto Rico models:

Apply B+ between
3-5 Continuity
3 terminal 1 and 2.

Apply B+ between

5. w/ Daytime running light system:
Wire harness side:
INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT MAIN RELAY
CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the con-
nector on the wire harness side.

11 - Ground No continuity
(Parking brake pedal released)
Parking brake switch ON
11 - Ground Continuity
(Parking brake pedal depressed)
3 - Ground Constant Battery positive voltage
9 - Ground Engine Stop No voltage
9 - Ground Engine Running Battery positive voltage
12 - Ground Ignition switch LOCK or ACC No voltage
12 - Ground Ignition switch ON or START Battery positive voltage
*1: Except Puerto Rico models
*2: Puerto Rico models
If circuit is specified, try replacing the relay with a new one.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to oth-
er parts.
6. w/ Daytime running light system:
