                     SUSPENSION AND AXLE   -   FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER
                                                                                        SA1L0-04


                                   REMOVAL
                                   NOTICE:
                                   Face the front wheel straight ahead to prevent damage to
                                   the steering gear.
                                   1.    REMOVE FRONT WHEEL




                                   2.   DISCONNECT FLEXIBLE HOSE AND ABS SPEED
                                        SENSOR WIRE HARNESS CLAMP
                                   Remove the bolt and disconnect the flexible hose and ABS
                                   speed sensor wire harness clamp from the shock absorber
                                   bracket.

                                   3.    REMOVE SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
                                   (a)   Remove the 2 nuts and bolts, and disconnect the shock
                                         absorber from the steering knuckle.

                                   (b)   Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber with the coil
                                         spring.
