CIRCUIT INSPECTION
DTC 11, 12 ABS Solenoid Relay Circuit
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This relay supplies power to each ABS solenoid. After the ignition switch is turned ON, if the initial check is
OK, the relay goes on.
DTC No. DTC Detecting Condition Trouble Area
With IG1 terminal voltage at 9.5V -18.5V, when solenoid
11 relay is turned ON, relay contact is OFF*1 for 0.2 sec. or
longer. S ABS solenoid valve relay

Immediately after IG1 is turned ON, when solenoid relay is

turned OFF, relay contact is ON*2 for 0.2 sec. or longer.
*1 Relay contact OFF condition:
When all solenoid supplied voltage are below 2.5 V.
* 2 Relay contact ON condition:
Any of voltage supplied by solenoid is 6 V or more.

DIAGNOSTICS - ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check voltage between terminals +BM and GND and terminals +BS and GND of
ABS actuator.
LOCK PREPARATION:
Disconnect the ABS actuator connector.
8 CHECK:
9 (-) Measure the voltage between terminals +BM(24) - GND(8, 23)
and terminals +BS(9) - GND(8, 23) ABS actuator harness side
connector.
(+)
OK:
23 24
Voltage: 10 - 14 V

NG Check and replace fuses.
Check and repair harness or connector.
OK
If the same code is still output after the DTC is deleted, check the contact condition of each con-
nection. If the connection is normal, the ECU may be defective.
