CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The rear air mix damper control servomotor is controlled by the A/C control assembly and moves the air mix
damper to the desired position.

DIAGNOSTICS - AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check rear air mix damper control servomotor.
PREPARATION:
"WARM" Remove the rear air mix damper control servomotor
(See page AC-50 ).
"COOL" CHECK:
Connect positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to
terminal 2.
OK:
The lever turns smoothly to "WARM
1 " side.
CHECK:
Connect positive (+) lead to terminal 2 and negative (-) lead to
terminal 1.

NG Replace rear air mix damper control servomo-
tor assembly.
OK
2 Check harness and connector between A/C control assembly and rear air mix
damper control servomotor assembly (See page IN-31 ).
NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
OK
Check and replace A/C control assembly.
