This is the power source for the A/C control assembly (contains the ECU) and servomotors, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check HEATER fuse.
Driver Side J/B No. 1
PREPARATION:
Remove HEATER fuse from Instrument Panel J/B No. 1.
CHECK:
Check continuity of HEATER fuse.
OK:
Continuity exists.

NG Check for shot in all the harness and compo-
nents connected to the HEATER fuse (See page
IN-31 ).
OK
2 Check voltage between terminals IG and GND of A/C control assembly connec-
tor.
PREPARATION:
ON GND (a) Remove A/C control assembly with connectors still con-
nected (See page AC-1 16).
(b) Turn ignition switch to ON.
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminals IG and GND of A/C control
IG assembly.
OK:
(+) (-) I21000 Voltage : 10 - 14 V
OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on
problem symptoms table (See page DI-697 ).

3 Check continuity between terminal GND of A/C control assembly and body
ground.
CHECK:
LOCK Measure resistance between terminal GND of A/C control as-
sembly and body ground.
OK:
Resistance : Below 1
GND NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
