INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check tire pressure warning light goes on for about 3 seconds when the ignition
switch is turned on.
OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI-212 ).
NG
Troubleshoot in accordance with the chart below for each trouble symptom.
Tire pressure warning light does not light up Go to step 2
Tire pressure warning light remains on Go to step 5
2 Check tire pressure warning light.
See combination meter troubleshooting on page BE-2 .
NG Repair bulb or combination meter assembly.

3 Check voltage between terminal WTIR of ABS ECU and body ground.
ON PREPARATION:
Disconnect the connector from the ABS ECU.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(b) Measure voltage between terminal WTIR of the connec-
WTIR
tor on the wire harness side and body ground.
OK:
Voltage: 10 - 14 V

OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in
problem symptoms table (See page DI-212 ).
NG
4 Check for open circuit in harness and connector between tire pressure warning
light and ABS ECU (See page IN-31 ).
NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
OK
Check and replace ABS actuator assembly.
5 Check tire pressure warning light goes off when disconnect the ABS ECU con-
nector.
NG Repair or replace harness or connector or com-
bination meter assembly.
OK
Check and replace ABS actuator assembly.
