                                               (a) Do a diagnostic system check.

                                               (b) If the front fender of the car or its periphery is damaged,
                                      H04220
                                                    do a visual check for damage to the front airbag sensor,
                                                    which includes the following items even if the airbag was
                                                    not deployed:
 LH                                                  S    Bracket deformation
                                                     S    Paint peeling from the bracket
                                                     S    Cracks, dents or chips in the case
                                                     S    Cracks, dents, hipping and scratches in the connec-
                                                          tor
                                                     S    Peeling off of the label or damage to the sereal num-
                                                          ber
