                                REMOVAL
                                NOTICE:
                                 S    If the wiring connector of the supplemental restraint
                                      system is disconnected with the ignition switch at ON
                                      or ACC, diagnostic trouble codes will be recorded.
                                 S    Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When re-
                                      placing parts, replace them with new parts.
                                1.    REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
                                2.    REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT OUTER BELT SHOULDER
                                      ANCHOR
                                (a) Using a screwdriver, then remove the anchor cap.
                                HINT:
                                Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
                                (b) Remove the bolt and rear No.1 seat outer belt shoulder
                                      anchor.
                                3.    REMOVE SLIDE DOOR SCUFF PLATE



   : 5 Clips                    4.    REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
                                (a)   Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt floor anchor.
                                (b)   Remove the lower center pillar garnish.
                                5.    REMOVE RETRACTOR OF FRONT SEAT OUTER
                                      BELT
                                CAUTION:
                                Never disassemble the front seat outer belt.
                                NOTICE:
                       H03598   When removing the retractor of front seat outer belt, take
                                care not to pull the seat belt pretensioner wire harness.
                                (a) Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the
                                      illustration.
                                CAUTION:
                                When removing the seat belt pretensioner, work must be
                                started 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the
                                "LOCK" position and the negative (-) terminal cable is dis-
                                connected from battery.
                                (b) w/ Seat belt warning:
                       H02611         Disconnect the retractor switch connector.
                                (c) Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt.
