                                      INSPECTION
                                      1.      REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT
                                      2.      REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
                                      3.      REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
                                      4.      REMOVE REAR RH QUARTER TRIM PLATE
                                              (See page BO-79 )

                                      5.      REMOVE BLOWER RESISTOR
                                      (a)     Disconnect the connector.
                                      (b)     Remove the 2 screws and blower resistor.

                                      6.   INSPECT BLOWER RESISTOR RESISTANCE
                                      Measure resistance between terminals, as shown in the chart
                                      below.
                                            Tester connection              Condition            Specified condition
                 2     1
                                                  1-3                      Constant              Approx. 1.68 
                 4     3
                                                  2-3                      Constant              Approx. 0.86 
                                                  2-4                      Constant              Approx. 0.22 
                                      If resistance is not as specified, replace the blower resistor.

                                      7.     INSTALL BLOWER RESISTOR
                                      (a) Install the blower resistor with the 2 screws.
                                      (b) Connect the connector.
                                      8.     INSTALL REAR RH QUARTER TRIM PLATE
                                      9.     INSTALL BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
                                      10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
                                      11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT (See page BO-81 )
