                                      INSPECTION
                                      1.      REMOVE FRONT SEATS
                                      2.      REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATES
                                      3.      REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIMS
                                      4.      REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES
                                      5.      REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
                                              (See page BO-108 )




                                      6.      REMOVE BLOWER RESISTOR
                                      (a)     Slide the floor carpet backward.
                                      (b)     Disconnect the connector.
                                      (c)     Remove the 2 screws and blower resistor.

                                      7.   INSPECT BLOWER RESISTOR RESISTANCE
                                      Measure resistance between terminals, as shown in the chart
                                      below.
                                            Tester connection              Condition            Specified condition
                 2     1
                                                  1-3                      Constant              Approx. 2.14 
                 4     3
                                                  2-3                      Constant               Approx. 1.0 
                                                  2-4                      Constant              Approx. 0.46 
                                      If resistance is not as specified, replace the blower resistor.

                                      8.     INSTALL BLOWER RESISTOR
                                      (a) Install the blower resistor with the 2 screws.
                                      (b) Connect the connector.
                                      (c) Slide the floor carpet forward.
                                      9.     INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
                                      10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES
                                      11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIMS
                                      12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATES
                                      13. INSTALL FRONT SEATS (See page BO-108 )
