INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT:
Start the inspection from step 1 if you are using the hand-held tester and start from step 2 if you are not using
hand-held tester.
1 INSPECT BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY
(a) Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the hand-held tester.
(d) Check the operation sound of the ABS pump motor when operating it with the hand-held tester.
OK:
The operation sound of the ABS pump motor should be heard.
OK PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION

2 INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU TERMINAL VOLTAGE(+BM TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage between terminal +BM and GND1,
2 of the skid control ECU harness side connector.
OK:
The operation sound of the ABS pump motor should
be heard.
