DIAGNOSTICS - AUDIO SYSTEM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY(B+, B2+, ACC, GND, GND2)
Stereo Component Amplifier Assy: (a) Remove the stereo component amplifier assy.
B+ ACC (b) Check continuity between terminals at each condition, as
shown in the chart.
Standard:
Tester connection Condition Specified condition
GND - Body ground Always Continuity
GND2 - Body ground Always Continuity
GND B2+ (c) Check the voltage between terminals at each condition,
GND2 I33891 as shown in the chart.
Standard:
Tester connection Condition Specified condition
B+ - GND Always 10 to 14 V
B2+ - GND Always 10 to14 V
ACC - GND Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
NG REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR
CONNECTOR (See page 01-37 )
