INSPECTION PROCEDURE
      1      CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY -
             PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY)

(a)       Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between the clearance warning ECU assy
          and park/neutral position switch assy (See page 01-37 ).

      2      INSPECT CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY(PL,RL TERMINAL)

                                                  (a)  Disconnect the connector from the clearance warning
                                                       ECU assy.
                                                  (b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
                                                  (c) Measure the voltage between terminals RL and E.
                                                  Standard:
                                                              Shift position                     Voltage
                                 RL(+)
           E(-)                                                Except R                       Less than 1.5 V
                                                                    R                         More than 7 V
                         PL(+)           I34998   (d)  w/ Front clearance sonar:
                                                       Measure the voltage between terminals PL and E.
                                                  Standard:
                                                              Shift position                     Voltage
                                                                Except P                      Less than 1.5 V
                                                                    P                         More than 7 V
