INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY - AIR
CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSY)
(a) Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between the clearance warning ECU assy
and air conditioner amplifier assy (See page 01-37 ).

2 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY -
BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the resistance between terminal E of the clear-
ance warning ECU assy and body ground.
Standard: 1 or less

3 INSPECT CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY(+B, E TERMINAL)
(a) Disconnect the clearance warning ECU assy connector.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Turn the clearance sonar main switch ON.
(d) Measure the voltage between terminals +B and E of the
ECU.
Standard: 10 to 14 V
