DTC C1251/51 PUMP MOTOR IS LOCKED/OPEN CIRCUIT
IN PUMP MOTOR GROUND
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTC No. DTC Detecting Condition Trouble Area
When either condition 1. or 2. is defected:
1. The ABS pump motor is not operating normally.
C1251 / 51 ABS pump motor
2. Open circuit of the ABS pump motor continues for 2 sec.
or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK CHECK OPERATION OF BRAKE ACTUATOR(PUMP MOTOR)
(a) Disconnect the brake actuator connector.
BM GND2 (b) Connect positive lead to terminal BM and negative
lead to terminal GND of the brake actuator. Check that the
pump motor is operating.
OK:
The running sound of the pump motor should be
heard.
