INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(RADIO RECEIVER ASSY - STEREO
COMPONENT CONTROLLER ASSY)
Radio Receiver Assy: (a) Disconnect the radio receiver assy and stereo compo-
w/ Navigation system: nent controller assy connector.
(b) In order to check for an open circuit, measure the resis-
tance between the terminals, as shown in the chart.
Standard:
Tester connection Specified condition
RSR+ - 5 Below 1
RSR- - 4 Below 1
RSL+ - 3 Below 1
RSL- RSLD Below 1
RSR+ RSL- - 2
RSL+ RSR- RSLD - 6 Below 1
w/o Navigation system (10 Speaker): SLD - 6 Below 1
(c) In order to check for a short circuit, measure the resis-
tance between the terminals, as shown in the chart.
Standard:
Tester connection Specified condition
SLD RSR+ - Body ground 10 k or higher
RSR- - Body ground 10 k or higher
RSL- RSL+ - Body ground 10 k or higher

2 INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSY(RSR+, RSR-, RSL+, RSL-, GND)
Radio Receiver Assy: (a) Disconnect the radio receiver assy connector.
w/ Navigation system: (b) In order to check for an open circuit, measure the resis-
tance between the terminals according to the condition,
RSR- as shown in the chart.
Standard:
