    DTC                  13              ABS SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU outputs this DTC when the speed sensor malfunction occurs or there is an open in
the stop lamp switch assy circuit of ABS system.
    DTC No.                     DTC Detecting Condition                                              Trouble Area
                When satisfying the any following conditions:
                S Speed sensor malfunction of ABS system occurs.
                                                                             S ABS system
       13       S Speed sensor noise malfunction of ABS system occurs.
                                                                             S Brake actuator assy
                S Stop lamp switch assy switch open circuit of ABS system
                  occurs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
   1        CHECK ABS WARNING LIGHT

                                                      (a)       With the ignition switch ON, the ABS warning lamp illumi-
                                                                nates for 3 seconds and then goes off.
                                                                Standard:
                                                                The ABS warning lamp comes on for 3 seconds and
                                                                then goes off.
