TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH CIRCUIT
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Receiving the signal from the tire pressure warning switch, the skid control ECU indicates the initialization
of the tire pressure warning system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CONFIRM VEHICLE MODELS
(a) Confirm the vehicle models.
Result:

2 CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH FUNCTION (See page 05-347 )
Standard:
Tire pressure warning switch function normal.
NG Go to step 3
OK
CHECK AIR PRESSURE OF TIRE AND ADJUST IT TO SPECIFIED PRESSURE, AFTER THEN
INITIALIZE THIS SYSTEM
3 INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the tire pressure warning switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance between the terminal 1 and 2 of
the tire pressure warning switch when the tire pressure
warning switch is ON and OFF.
Standard:
ON
Switch condition Specified condition
ON Below 1
OFF 2 1 OFF 10 k or higher

4 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH -
BRAKE ACUTUATOR ASSY)
(a) Connect the tire pressure warning switch connector.
Wire Harness Side: INT (b) Disconnect the brake actuator assy connector.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminal 22 (INT) of
brake actuator wire harness side connector and the body
ground when the tire pressure warning switch is ON and
OFF.
Standard:
Switch condition Specified condition
F44439 ON Below 1
OFF 10 k or higher
NOTICE:
As a water proof connector cannot be checked be from the
backside, check by connecting the sub-harness.
NG REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR
CONNECTOR

5 CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH FUNCTION (See page 05-347 )

6 INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the tire pressure warning switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance between the terminal 1 and 2 of
the tire pressure warning switch when the tire pressure
warning switch is ON and OFF.
Standard:

7 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH -
BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY)
(a) Connect the tire pressure warning switch connector.
Wire Harness Side:
(b) Disconnect the brake actuator assy connector.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminal 41 (INIT) of
the brake actuator assy wire harness side connector and
body ground when tire pressure warning switch is ON and
OFF.
Standard:
Switch condition Specified condition
INT F45562 ON Below 1
OFF 10 k or higher
NOTICE:
As a water proof connector cannot be checked be from the
