PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
Check the circuits for each problem symptom in the order given in the table below and proceed to the relevant
troubleshooting page.
HINT:
S Inspect each malfunction circuit in numerical order for the corresponding symptom.
If the malfunction still exist even after checking and confirming that all the circuit are normal, replace
the brake actuator assy.
S When a malfunction is found in the skid control ECU, replace the brake actuator assy.
S When the tire pressure warning lamp blinks and the ABS warning lamp comes on, check the ABS sys-
tem first.

3. Brake actuator assy -
The tire pressure warning lamp comes on while driving, but the HINT:
lamp goes off without supplying tire air pressure. The varied tire pressure is detected depending on the driv-
ing environment.
Since any of the detected pressure reaches the standard
tire pressure value, the warning lamp may goes off.
1. Check that the vehicle wears whether the appropriate -
size tire or not.

The tire pressure warning lamp comes on, but the tire air pressure 4. Brake actuator assy -
is in the standard value. HINT:
S Wearing the inappropriate size tire, or not using the indi-
cated tire.
S The tire air pressure may not be standard value at the
time of the initialization.

4. Brake actuator assy -
The tire pressure warning lamp remains off, even when the tire air HINT:
pressure decreased. S Wearing the inappropriate size tire, or not using the indi-
cated tire.
S The varied tire pressure is detected depending on the
driving environment. Since the tire air pressure decreases
further, the pressure warning lamp may come on.
S The air pressure may not be standard value at time of the
initialization.
