INDICATOR LIGHT CIRCUIT
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Even when the theft deterrent system is in the disarmed state, the security indicator flashes due to a signal
output from the immobiliser system. The security indicator flashes continuously by receiving a signal from
the immobiliser system at all times while in the armed state.
The multiplex network body ECU causes the security indicator to light up or blink only during the arming prep-
aration state and alarm sounding state.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK MAIN SWITCH ASSY (SECURITY INDICATOR)
(a) Remove the main switch assy.
(b) Apply 12 V positive voltage between the terminals of the
switch, and check the lighting condition of the security in-
dicator.
Standard:
Measurement Condition Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) Terminal 6
Lights up
Battery negative (-) Terminal 5
B67850 NOTICE:
S If the positive (+) lead and the negative (-) lead are in-
correctly connected, the security indicator does not
light up.
S Voltage of more than 12 V will damage the security in-
dicator.
S If the voltage is too low, the security indicator will not
light up.
