INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 SERVICE CHECK MODE(TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSY)
(a) Perform service check.
(1) Start the diagnosis system and read check result for television display assy.
Result:
A "NCON" is displayed or no display (Rr-TV)
B "OK" is displayed

2 CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR(TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSY -
MULTI-DISPLA Y CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY)
Television Display Assy: (a) Disconnect the television display assy and multi-display
controller sub-assy connectors.
(b) In order to check for an open circuit, measure the resis-
tance between the terminals, as shown in the chart.
Standard:
Tester connection Specified condition
TX+ - TX2+ Below 1
TX+ TX- - TX2- Below 1
TX-
(c) In order to check for a short circuit, measure the resis-
tance between the terminals, as shown in the chart.
Multi display Controller Sub-assy: Standard:
Tester connection Specified condition
TX+ - Body ground 10 k or higher
TX- - Body ground 10 k or higher
TX2+ TX2-
