DISPLAY DOES NOT DIM (NIGHT SCREEN) WITH TAIL SWITCH
ON

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
      1      CHECK IMAGE QUALITY SETTING

                                                (a)   Enter the display adjustment screen by pressing the "DIS-
                                                      PLAY" switch.
                                                (b)   Turn the light control switch to the TAIL position.
                                                (c)   Check if "DAY MODE" on the display adjustment is ON.
                                                      OK: "DAY MODE" is ON.

      2      DISPLAY CHECK MODE(VEHICLE SIGNAL CHECK MODE)

(a)       Enter the "Display Check" mode (Vehicle Signal Check Mode) (see page 05-1298 ).
                                              (b) Turn the light control switch to the TAIL, HEAD or OFF
                                                    position.
                                                    Standard:
                                                        Light control switch                    Display
                                                            TAIL or HEAD                         ON
                                                                OFF                              OFF
                                                HINT:
                                                The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal
                                       I38223   for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.
