DTC B0130/63 SHORT IN P/T SQUIB (RH) CIRCUIT
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The P/T squib RH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat outer belt assy RH.
This circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.
DTC B0130/63 is recorded when a short circuit is detected in the P/T squib RH circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK CONNECTOR
(a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(c) Disconnect the connectors from the front seat outer belt assy RH.
(d) Check that the floor wire No.2 connector (on the front seat outer belt assy RH side) is not damaged.
OK:
The lock button is not disengaged, or the claw of the lock is not deformed or damaged.
NG REPAIR OR REPLACE FLOOR WIRE NO.2

2 CHECK FLOOR WIRE NO.2(P/T SQUIB RH CIRCUIT)
(a) Disconnect the connector from the airbag sensor assy

(b) Release the activation prevention mechanism built into

3 CHECK AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER
(a) Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assy center.
(b) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery,
and wait for at least 2 seconds.
Airbag (c) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
P/T Squib RH Sensor least 60 seconds.
Assy (d) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 05-777 ).

(e) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

(f) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
DLC3 DTC B0130/63 least 60 seconds.
(g) Check the DTCs (see page 05-777 ).
OK:
DTC B0130/63 is not output.

4 CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY RH(P/T SQUIB RH)
(a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the bat-
tery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
Airbag (c) Connect the connector to the front seat outer belt assy
Sensor RH.
P/T Squib RH Assy (d) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery,
Center and wait for at least 2 seconds.
DC (e) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
DLC3 least 60 seconds.
DTC B0130/63
(f) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 05-777 ).
(g) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
(h) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
CG least 60 seconds.

S Perform the simulation method by selecting the check mode with the hand-held tester (see page
05-780 ).
S After selecting the check mode, perform the simulation method by wiggling each connector of the air-
bag system or driving the vehicle on a city or rough road (see page 05-780 ).
