DTC B0133/62 SHORT IN P/T SQUIB (RH) CIRCUIT (TO B+)
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The P/T squib RH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and the front seat outer belt assy RH.
This circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.
DTC B0133/62 is recorded when a short to B+ is detected in the P/T squib RH circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 CHECK FLOOR WIRE NO.2(P/T SQUIB RH CIRCUIT)
(a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the bat-

tery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

P/T Squib RH (c) Disconnect the connectors from the airbag sensor assy

A Center center and the front seat outer belt assy RH.
D C B (d) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery,
and wait for at least 2 seconds.
P45 (e) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
(f) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table
PR+ PR- below.

Floor Wire No.2 (a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the bat-

tery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

P/T Squib RH C (c) Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assy center.
Assy
Center (d) Using a service wire, connect P45-1 (PR+) and P45-2
(PR-) of connector "C".

P45 NOTICE:
S Twist the end of the service wire in order to insert it
PR+ PR- into the connector.
S Do not forcibly insert the twisted service wire into the
Service Wire terminals of the connector when connecting.
(e) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery,
and wait for at least 2 seconds.

(f) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 05-777 ).
(h) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

OK:
DTC B0133/62 is not output.
HINT:

3 CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY RH(P/T SQUIB RH)
(a) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
(b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the bat-
tery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
Airbag (c) Disconnect the service wire from connector "C".

(d) Connect the connector to the front seat outer belt assy
P/T Squib RH Assy
RH.
Center
(e) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery,
DC and wait for at least 2 seconds.
DLC3 DTC B0133/62 (f) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at
least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in memory (see page 05-777 ).
(h) Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
CG TC (i) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and wait for at

OK:
DTC B0133/62 is not output.
HINT:

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (SEE PAGE 05-770 )
HINT:
S Perform the simulation method by selecting the check mode with the hand-held tester (see page
05-780 ).
S After selecting the check mode, perform the simulation method by wiggling each connector of the air-
bag system or driving the vehicle on a city or rough road (see page 05-780 ).
