INSPECTION
1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER
SWITCH ASSY
(a) Check the resistance between the terminals of the switch
when the switch is operated.

2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH
ASSY (PASSENGER)
(a) Check the resistance between the switch terminals when

Standard:
Terminal No. Regulator Switch Specified Condition
1 - 2, 3 - 4 UP
1 - 2, 3 - 5 OFF Below 1
B63163 1 - 4, 3 - 5 DOWN
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH
ASSY REAR
(a) Check the resistance between the switch terminals when
the switch is operated.
Standard:
Terminal No. Regulator Switch Specified Condition
1 - 2, 3 - 4 UP
1 - 2, 4 - 5 OFF Below 1
B66766 2 - 3, 4 - 5 DOWN
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
Counterclockwise 4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR
Motor Gear
ASSY LH (FRONT)
(a) Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
(b) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
NOTICE:
Clockwise Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except termi-
nals 1 and 2.
Standard:
B67306 Terminal No. Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) 1
Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
Battery negative (-) 2
Battery positive (+) 2
Motor gear rotates clockwise
Battery negative (-) 1
If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.
Counterclockwise 5. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

ASSY LH (REAR)
(a) Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
(b) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

Motor gear rotates clockwise
Battery negative (-) 2
Battery positive (+) 2

6. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR
Motor Gear
Clockwise ASSY RH (FRONT)
(a) Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
(b) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
NOTICE:
Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except termi-

7. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR
Motor Gear
Clockwise ASSY RH (REAR)
(a) Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
(b) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
Standard:
Terminal No. Specified Condition
Counterclockwise Battery positive (+) 1
Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
Battery negative (-) 2
Battery positive (+) 2
B69020 Motor gear rotates clockwise
Battery negative (-) 1
If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.
8. INSPECT POWER WINDOW RELAY (Marking: PWR)
(a) Remove the relay from the instrument panel J/B.

(b) Check the resistance of the relay.

Terminal No. Specified Condition
1 2 10 k or higher
1 3-5 Below 1
(When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
B69025 If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
Front Door 9. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH
Courtesy Lamp Free ASSY
Switch (a) Remove the courtesy lamp switch.
Pushed
(b) Check the switch resistance.
Standard:
Terminal No. Condition Specified Condition
Switch pushed 10 k or higher
1 - Body ground
Switch free Below 1
Body Ground If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
