INSPECTION
Front Power Seat Switch LH
1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH
(a) Inspect the driver side front power seat switch assy.
Front Vertical Slide Switch
(1) Measure the resistance between the terminals
Slide Switch when each switch is operated.
Reclining Switch Standard:
Slide switch
Tester Connection Switch Operation Specified Condition
1 (B) - 9 (SLDF) FRONT Below 1
4 (E) - 6 (SLDR) FRONT Below 1
4 (E) - 6 (SLDR) OFF Below 1
Lifter Switch 4 (E) - 9 (SLDF) OFF Below 1
P46 1 (B) - 6 (SLDR) REAR Below 1
RCLF RCLR

2 (RCLR) - 4 (E) FRONT Below 1

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

(Lumber Support) (a) Inspect the lumber support switch assy.
(1) Measure the resistance between the terminals
when each switch is operated.

1 (R) - 2 (E2) HOLD switch pushed Below 1
3 (B) - 4 (H) HOLD switch pushed Below 1
1 (R) - 2 (E2) Off Below 1
RELEASE 4 (H) - 5 (E1) Off Below 1

Switch 1 (R) - 3 (B) RELEASE switch pushed Below 1
P49 4 (H) - 5 (E1) RELEASE switch pushed Below 1
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

Slide Motor 3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSY LH
(a) Check slide motor operation.
(1) Check if the motor rotates smoothly when the bat-
tery is connected to the slide motor connector termi-
nals.
