ADJUSTMENT
HINT:
On the RH side, use the same procedures as on the LH side.
1. INSPECT SLIDE DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY LH
(a) Check that the clearance is within the standard range.

Standard:
A 5.0 " 1.5 mm (0.197 " 0.059 in.)
B 8.0 " 1.5 mm (0.315 " 0.059 in.)
C 5.5 " 1.5 mm (0.197 " 0.059 in.)
D 7.0 " 1.5 mm (0.275 " 0.059 in.)
E 6.3 " 1.5 mm (0.250 " 0.059 in.)
2. ADJUST SLIDE DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY LH
(a) Using the SST, horizontally and vertically adjust the door
by loosening the hinge center bolts.
SST 09812-00010, 09812-00020
(b) Tighten the hinge assy center bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 31 Nm (306 kgfcm, 23 ftlbf)

(c) Vertically adjust the front side of the door by loosening the
roller lower bolts.
(d) Tighten the roller lower bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 31 Nm (306 kgfcm, 23 ftlbf)

(e) Horizontally adjust the front lower side of the door by loos-
ening the roller lower bolts.
(f) Tighten the roller lower bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 31 Nm (306 kgfcm, 23 ftlbf)

(g) Horizontally adjust the front upper side of the door by
loosening the roller upper bolts.
(h) Tighten the roller assy lower bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (82 kgfcm, 73 in.lbf)

(i) Adjust the position of the door lock striker by slightly loos-
ening the striker mounting screws and hitting the striker
with a plastic-faced hammer.
(j) Tighten the striker mounting screws after the adjustment.
Torque: 23 Nm (235 kgfcm, 17 ftlbf)

(k) Adjust the position of the front lock striker by slightly loos-
ening the striker mounting screws and hitting the striker
with a plastic-faced hammer.
(l) Tighten the striker mounting screws after the adjustment.
Torque: 23 Nm (235 kgfcm, 17 ftlbf)

(m) Adjust the position of the down stopper by moving the male stopper, so that the male stopper can enter
smoothly.
(n) Tighten the female stopper mounting bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (58 kgfcm, 49 in.lbf)
