REPLACEMENT
HINT:
On the RH side, use the same procedures as on the LH side.
1. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING
CENTER LH
(a) Put protective tape around the moulding.
(b) Using a remover for the roof moulding, disengage of the
clips both in the front and rear ends of the moulding and
then remove the roof drip side finish moulding.
NOTICE:
Protective Tape S Do not remove the clips.
B67736 S If the clips are damaged or removed accidentally, ex-
change them for supply ones.
2. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING
Front side CENTER LH
8.9 NOTICE:
(0.35) Only when exchanging the clips.
(a) Remove the tape that remains on the mounting surface
of the vehicle body and then clean the surface with white
gasoline.
(b) Using a heat light, heat up the clip installation surfaces of
the vehicle body and moulding.
Heating temperature:
Rear side Body 40 - 60_C (104 - 140_F)
20.9 Moulding 20 - 30_C (68 - 86_F)
(0.823) NOTICE:
Do not heat the body and moulding excessively.
(c) Set the supply clips in the positions as shown in the il-
lustration and press-fit the clips by hand to install them.
NOTICE:
Install the moulding when 30 minutes or more have passed
mm (in.)

HINT:
S Initial hardening time: 30 minutes
S Perfect hardening time: 24 hours
