REMOVAL
1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR
HINT:
It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.
2. DISCONNECT WATER VALVE CONTROL CABLE
FROM WATER VALVE
HINT:
At the time of installation, refer to the following:
After connection, adjust the control cable (See page AC-105).

3. DISCONNECT WATER HOSES
(a) Using pliers, grip the claws of the hose clips and slide the
hose clips along the hoses.
(b) Disconnect the water hoses.

Water Valve Upper HINT:
At the time of installation, refer to the following:
Fr Rr S Heater radiator pipe:
Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe up to
Hose Clip Water Hose
the second ridge on the pipe.
S Water valve:
RH LH Push the water hose onto the water valve pipe up to the
water valve.
Heater Radiator Pipe Lower
I11199 S Install the hose clip in the position shown in the illustra-
tion.
4. REMOVE WATER VALVE
Remove the bolt and water valve.
