                   MANUAL TRANSMISSION (RA60)   -   MANUAL TRANSMISSION UNIT
                                                                                                  MT0HP-01


                                       REMOVAL
                                       1.    DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
                                       2.    REMOVE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER
                                       (a)   Remove the transmission shift lever knob.
                                       (b)   Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever boot retainer.
                                       (c)   Remove the transmission shift lever boot.




                                       (d)   Turn over the dust boot.
                                       (e)   While pressing down on the shift lever cap, rotate it coun-
                                             terclockwise to remove.
                                       3.    RAISE VEHICLE AND DRAIN TRANSMISSION OIL
                                       (a)   Remove the drain plug and gasket and drain the trans-
                                             mission oil.
                                       (b)   Install a new gasket and the drain plug.
 Shift Lever Cap                             Torque: 37 N
