JDESCRIPTION
D The 2AZ-FE engine, which is an in-line, 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter, 16-valve DOHC engine, based on the
2AZ-FE engine on the '01 Highlander.
D This engine has following features that have been optimized in order to realize the further improvement
of the engine performance, fuel economy and to reduce exhaust emissions.
D The PS (Planetary reduction Segment conductor motor) starter has been adopted.
D Meets the ULEV (Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) regulation requirements.
D ETCS-i (Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent) has been adopted.
D VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) system is used.
D A big bore / long port intake manifold is used.
D A balance shaft is used.
