SUBJECT: 021-19055-205 Bracket; Safety SW Ass'y
Brief:
The bent portion of the part, to act as a stopper against "Bottom Bracket; M.-Disposal Gate Housing" is made
longer.
Reason:
Above portion of the "Bracket; Safety SW Ass'y" had a possibility of riding on top of the "Bottom Bracket; M.-
Disposal Gate Housing".
When that occurs, the two parts lock with each other, and the Disposal Box Safety Switch stays activated
even when the Master Disposal Box is removed.
The panel displays a message either "C03-308" or "C03-313" after emptying the full Master Disposal Box.
The symptom is exactly the same as that explained on our RN technical bulletin issue No.RNT-006, only the
cause is different.
Modification:
The bent portion of the part, to act as a stopper against "Bottom Bracket; M.-Disposal Gate Housing", is
made longer, from 15 millimeters on the old part to 19.5 millimeters on the new part. An extension of 4.5
millimeters.

This bent-down portion of the metal sheet is extended 4.5 millimeters.
Old part number 021-19055-108 was 15 mm in length.
The new part number 021-19055-205 is 19.5 mm in length. "Bracket; Safety SW Ass'y" had a
possibility of riding on top of the "Bottom
Bracket; M.-Disposal Gate Housing".
